Barefoot Bowls

Barefoot bowling is available from January to December.

Off-Peak (April to August)

•  $120 per rink (8 – 10 people per rink)
• Less than 8 people – $15 per person
  Cost includes equipment, tuition and 2 hours of bowling
• Kids under 15 bowl free (Smaller sized Junior bowls are available)

Peak Season (September to March)

• $150 per rink (8 – 10 people per rink)
• Less than 8 people – $20 per person
  Cost includes equipment, tuition and 2 hours of bowling

Dress & Conduct Code:

We keep The Official Rules for Saturday Pennant, but in the interests of all our guests we have set a few guidelines so that everyone enjoys their visit in comfort and safety.
Footwear can be flat-soled shoes, thongs or bare feet. Heels of any sort can damage the greens.

Dress comfortably for the appropriate weather. Sunscreen is available at the bar and we encourage our guests to wear hats and cover up when it’s hot.

We operate under the Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations, and reserve the right to refuse service.

Offensive or abusive language, or behaviour that is potentially destructive to property or harmful to other guests, is unacceptable.

We have an old saying “No glass on the grass”. Our surrounds and garden areas are there for your enjoyment, but drinks and food are not permitted on the greens.

We are a family-friendly Club; however, please keep an eye on the little ones as bowls can easily injure someone at speed.

Our hosts are here to help you deliver that perfect bowl. Throwing or delivering bowls with great speed can potentially cause injury to the greens and other guests.
Things can go missing. Keep your personal possessions close.

Booking Conditions:
Deposit:
To secure your booking you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit for bowls. This can be paid by Credit Card over the phone or direct credit to RUBC bank account. We accept all cards except Diners Club. Amex transactions incur a 3% surcharge.
For November and December bookings, a 50% non-refundable deposit on bowls will be required to secure your booking.  We request that this be paid within 10 working days of Booking Confirmation, or the booking cannot be held.

Booking Confirmation:

48 hours notice is required for changes to booking.
Less than 48 hours, the number of rinks requested at the time of booking will be charged for – even if not used.

Cancellation:
48 hours notice is required if you need to cancel your booking.  Less than 48 hours notice, we cannot refund your deposit (unless due to inclement weather).
